Shirley was born January 16, 1937, in Mount Wolf, a daughter of the late Albert G. and Irene E. (Trimmer) Snyder.
She was a 1954 graduate of Eichelberger High School in Hanover.
Shirley had been a waitress at the Ramona in York, and enjoyed playing Bingo.
She had been a member of Mt. Carmel Lutheran Church.
Shirley was the wife of the late Dale W. Herman and is survived by two daughters, Jude A. Mirasola and Vicky L. Moran, both of York; grandchildren, Alysha M. Jackson, Sara R. Mirasola, Brenden D. Moran, Sean M. Moran, and Dillon T. Moran; great-grandchildren, Hayley A. Jackson and Cody T. Jackson. She was one of nine children and is survived by her brothers and sisters, Harold, Henry, Ida, Gloria, and Elizabeth.
Interment was in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Moulstown.
