DEATH OF MRS. MCCLAIN

Screnely to her final rest has passed, while the soft memory of her virtues yet, lingors like twilight hues, when the bright sun is set.

Her youth was innocent, her riper age, marked with some act of goodness every day, and watched by eyes that loved her, cheerful she gave her being up and went; To share the holy rest that waits a life well spent.

Mrs. Marguerite McClain, was the daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth Shipp. She was born in Hart Co., Ky.,
Feb. 19 1836 and died Feb. 11, 1922, at the age of 85 years, 11 months and 5 days. She was married to Thomas
McClain Mar. 5, 1857. To them was
born 8 children, 4 died in early life.

After the death of her husband she made her home with her children, who did all they could to make her declining years as happy as possible.

She was a member of the Methodist church. She always remembered that God helps those that help themselves, and that he would not forsake those that were good and true. For as muchs Christ suffered in the flesh, arm ourselves likewise with the same kind, for if you suffer with him you
shall also reign with him. Funeral services were held Monday at Rockane at the Christian church. Burial at Rocklane.

Mrs. McClain leaves four, children; W. A. McClain, Roma McClain, Mrs.Jennie Caldwell and Mrs. Zora King, also 25 grandchildren and many friends.
