JONESVILLE, La. -- Services for Lannie Lane Nichols, 56, of Jonesville, who died Monday, April 17, 2000, in Alexandria, will be at 10 a.m. today at First Pentecostal Church with the Revs. Jack Knapp, Spanky Neal and Toney Ganey officiating.

Burial will be at Evangeline Cemetery in Wildsville, under the direction of Young's Funeral Home.

Visitation will be until service time today at the church.

Nichols was born March 16, 1944, in Jonesville.

She was a beautician and a homemaker and a member of First Pentecostal Church in Jonesville.

Nichols was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jake Nichols, and a sister, Othe Nugent.

Survivors include a daughter, Cindy Spinks of Jonesville; a son, Eddie Nichols of Jonesville; two brothers, Sam Nichols and Lawarence Nichols of Jonesville; two sisters, Iola "Peppie" Nichols of Jonesville and Viola Husbands of Jena; three grandchildren, Justin Spinks and Meghan and Drew Nichols; a number of nieces and nephews; and a friend, James W. "Jim" Wilson of Jonesville.

Pallbearers will be Josh Skinner, Leland Paul Adams Jr., Leland Paul Adams Sr., Jeffrey Nichols, Donnie Holomon ad Jimmy Guillot.

Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Book, Billy Edwards, Johnny Wilson, Walter King and Donald Ray Smith.
