Edna M. Peters, 91, of 550 Main St., Slatington, formerly of 12 North St., Slatington, died Tuesday, Aug. 19, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was the wife of the late Williams J. Peters Sr.
She was a housekeeper for Dr. and Mrs. George W. Heintzelman, Neffs, for 35 years before retiring in 1982.
Born in Heidelberg Township, she was a daughter of the late George F.S. and Emma M. (Billig) Blose.
She was a member of Union United Church of Christ, Neffs.
She was a member and past sentinel of Slatington Chapter 458, Order of the Eastern Star, for many years.
Survivors: Sons, Carl W. of Slatington and William J. Jr. of Northampton; daughters, Pauline E. Kressler of Allentown and Dorothea, wife of Roy H. Horn of Slatington; 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by daughters, Carolyn M. Farber in February, and Ruth B. Edwards.
Services: 11 a.m. Friday, Heintzelman Funeral Home, 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville. Call 10-11 a.m. Friday.
