Funeral for Gladys LaJune McClusky, 75, 2 p.m. Thursday at Maranatha Baptist Church, burial in Roselawn Cemetery with Roselawn directing.

Visitation is 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.

Mrs. McClusky died November 18, 2003.  She was the wife of Jack McClusky.

Gladys LaJune Humphrey Wheat McClusky

Funeral for Gladys LaJune Humphrey Wheat McClusky, 75, of Decatur will be Thursday, Nov. 20, 2003, at 2 p.m. at Maranatha Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Garrison officiating and Roselawn Funeral Home directing. The body will be at the church one hour prior to the service.

Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.

Gladys LaJune Humphrey Wheat McClusky, affectionately known as "Mama June" by her many friends and family, died Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2003, at her residence. She was born May 18, 1928, in Hamilton County, Tenn., to Walter Booth Humphrey and Edna Rogers Humphrey. She was retired from Touch of New York Dog Grooming Salon.

She has left her life memories with her husband, Jack McClusky; daughters, Paula Gail Wheat Henry and husband Michael, Gladys Faye Wheat Johnson and husband Larry, Brenda Wheat Freeman, and Terri Ann McClusky Roberts and husband Robby; sons, Kenny "Ken" Wheat and wife Cindy, Buck Wheat and wife Rennae; 12 grandchildren, Scott Henry, Brian Henry, Wes Henry, Shanon Clinton, Jerry Johnson, Melanie Shirley, Wendy McCulloch, Jaime Steele, Misty Davis, Josh Wheat, Jeff Wheat and Myra Wheat; and 10 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alacare Hospice of Alabama, 2708 Hwy. 31, South, Decatur, AL 35603.
