First husband - pictured at right; Walter John Gardner who died in 1928 from burns suffered in a bus accident on the way home from his grandmother's funeral (Chicago), at the Red Wing corner, Red wing MN. Children of Pansie and Walter are John and Marian. In 1930 she was living with her step sister, Nina Holbrook Wold and family:

Pansie died 21 Mar 1990, of ovarian cancer. Internment was at Rosehill Cemetery, Winnebago, MN. Casketbearers: Donald and Marvin Jaeger, Les Mueller, Darrell, David and Allen Schenk (sons of Arno Schenk, brother of Alvin).
