Mrs. Ida May Young, 71, Caledonia Twp., died suddenly of a heart attack at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the office of Dr. John G. Lyons where she had gone for a check-up. She had been in failing health for three years.
Services are set for 1:30 p.m. Friday at Jennings-Lyons Chapel. The Rev. Herold F. DeWeese will officiate, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. The body rests at the chapel.
Mrs. Young was born Feb. 27, 1879 in Ohio, the daughter of John W. and Matilda Delcamp.
She was married to James H. Young Aug. 12, 1920 in Montpelier, Ohio. She was a member of the West Owosso Church of Christ and an active church worker.
Besides the husband, survivors are three brothers, John and Fred, both of Owosso: Glenn, California: two sisters, Mrs. H.E. Kantzer, Mt. Clemens and Miss Velma Delcamp, Owosso.
