Debra A. Fuller (Pini)
Age 53, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2009, after a long and courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her loving family and friends.
Debbie was born in Wilmington, DE on January 20, 1956, and truly lived a life full of love. She was a talented, creative person in all that she did, and yet she considered her most important role in life to be a devoted wife and mother. Debbie was blessed with artistic gifts that she shared through her work and personal hobbies, including her love of art, music, and dancing. Many will recall her years as a successful hair stylist in her own salon.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph A., Sr., her children, Joseph A. Jr., her daughter, Julia A., her parents, Donald D. and Carole F. Pini, her sister, Donna M. Racine, husband, George, and their son, Christopher; her sister, Carol Jane Rager, husband, Doug, and their children, Natalina, Lucas, and Cody. She was predeceased by her brother, Joseph R. Pini, and is survived by his children, Crystal and Carla. In addition, she is survived by her brother-in-law, Edward T. Fuller, III, his wife, Linda and their children, Edward T. and James M., a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws and extended family and friends. Christopher and Natalina were her special Godchildren and she also leaves behind their family's beloved dog, Patsy.
Friends may visit with the family at the DOHERTY FUNERAL HOME, 3200 Limestone Road, Pike Creek on Sunday, October 11, from 4-7 pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated the following morning at 10 am, Monday, October 12, at St. John the Beloved Church, 907 Milltown Road, Wilmington. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery, 6001 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Debbie may be made to the American Cancer Society, 92 Read's Way, New Castle, DE 19720 and Heartland Hospice, 5661 Ochletree Lane, Wilmington, DE, 19808.
