George Goepfert6, aged 67, one of the best known residents of the West End and a citizen of Tarentum for more than 30 years, died suddenly at his home at 245 West Seventh avenue this morning at 8:30. He had been in feeble health for about eight months.
Mr. Goepfert was born in Saxonburg and came to Tarentum when quite young.
He was a member of the G.U.E.P. church.
He leaves his widow, two children, William of Baillie’s Run and Mrs. Clara Painter, of West End. Three grandchildren also survive.
Funeral plans have not been made.
