Thomas M. Edmundson, a well known resident of Tarentum for the past 30 years, died in his home, 910 Lock street, shortly after noon Saturday of an illness of a little over four weeks. Mr. Edmundson was in his 74th year.
Mr. Edmundson was a native of McKeesport. He came here from that city 30 years ago to accept a position with the McFetridge Coal Company. He became paymaster for the Tarentum Paper Mills 18 years ago and had held that position up to the time of his death.
He was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Tarentum. He served as an elder in that congregation for a number of years, but at the time of his death he held no office in the church.
