Eva L. Schwab was born the daughter of Joy and Irene (Morgan) Junkin on December 1, 1924 in Dexter, Iowa and died at Community Care Center in Stuart, Iowa on December 14, 2010 at the age of 86 years, and 13 days.

Eva graduated from Earlham High School and moved with her family to California where she was employed at North American Aviation. She met and married an aviation engineer, Scott Johnson. Eva and Scott travelled extensively, living in Spain, Alaska, South Dakota, Newfoundland, to name a few and returned to San Diego prior to Scott's death. Eva would then marry Burt Schwab who was also an aviation engineer whom she had known for many years. Burt and Eva also travelled all around the world. After moving back to Iowa following Burt's death, Eva enjoyed travelling throughout the United States and Canada with her companion Clyde McMullin.

Eva is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: her parents; her brothers: George, Robert and Dickie Junkin; and a half sister Velma Routh.
