Georgetown--
Pringle Pipkin Lambert, 72, a retired farmer, died Friday at his home.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Saints Delight Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Burial will be in the Lambert Family Cemetery, directed by Mayer Funeral Home.
Mr. Lambert was born May 27, 1906, in Georgetown County, a son of the late William Benjamin Lambert Sr. and Mrs. Margaret Emma Lambert Lambert. He was an honorary deacon and a member of Saints Delight Pentecostal Holiness Church. He had worked for the Seaboard Coastline Railroad and Oneita Knitting Mills.
Surviving are: his widow, Mrs. Carrie White Lambert of Georgetown; two sons, Johnny Henderson Lambert of Seattle, WA, and Floyd Pringle Lambert of Georgetown; three daughters, Mrs. Thelma L. Bittleston of Jacksonville, Fla., Mrs. Uldine L. Thomas of Georgetown and Mrs. Pauline L. Hamilton of Andrews; two brothers, Yokum Lambert of Kingsland, Ga., and Lacy Lambert of Georgetown; a sister, Mrs. Linnie Mae L. Guerry of North Charleston; 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
