FOUTCH
Dale Franklin "Butch" Foutch was born March 13, 1939, in Russell to Lloyd and Doris Foutch, and passed away from cancer Dec. 29, 1989, at his mother's home in Russell, at the age of 50 years.
He was united in marriage to Patricia Diane Snyder on May 14, 1966, at Derby. To this union three children were born, Karol, Chris and Kevin.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia of Russell; sons, Chris and Kevin of Russell; daughter and son-in-law, Karol and Michael Scobie of Des Moines; mother, Doris Foutch of Russell; and many relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father in 1981.
Dale was a life-long resident of Russell. He was associated as a mechanic with his father for several years.
Dale will mostly be remembered as a warm and kind husband, father, and son; and for his enjoyment of hunting and fishing with the family dog.
He will be greatly missed by family and friends, but with his faith in God he will be free from pain and suffering.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m., Monday Jan. 1, 1990, at the Fielding Funeral Home, with the Rev. Larry McAlpine officiating. Serving as bearers were Gary Martin, Wayne Holder, Duane Elmore, Harold Rasmus, Dennis Linville, and Edgar Enterline. Music was provided by Jim Werts and Merna Robb.
Interment was in the Russell Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Lucas County Health Center Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
