Joseph S. Daulton, 72, Mishawaka, died at 6:40 a.m. Wednesday in the Veterans Administration Hospital in Indianapolis after an extended illness.
Mr. Daulton was born April 27, 1908 in Rochester. He was retired from the Courier-Newsom Trucking Co. He was married May 11, 1948 in Rochester to Thelma Davis, who died in 1970. He was a member of the American Legion and a veteran of World War II.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Danny (Dianna) Vincent, Mishawaka, and Mrs. Michael (Barbara) McLaughlin, South Bend; three grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Barbara Swain, Mishawaka, and Mrs. Velma Vigus, Gardena, Calif.; three brothers, Ben Daulton, Wayne Daulton, Dale "Dirty" Daulton, all of Rochester.
