Born Oct. 18, 1921, in Attica he was the son of Ray E. and Felicia A. Wagoner Lindley. He married Rosemary Fischer on June 26, 1954, and she survives.
Other survivors include friends, Robert and Jane Calhoun, Sharpsville and William and Clare Lopez, Brandon.
Mr. Lindley graduated in 1939 from Attica High School and in 1943 from Purdue University.
He was employed in public relations for 30 years with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. He was a life member of the Elks and Moose Lodge of Frankfort.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Maus Funeral Home, Attica, with the Rev. Charles Kline officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Attica. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home." (Obit: The Shelbyville News, Feb 5, 2001)
