BOWIE,MARYLAND -- Philomena Ellen (Arnold) Chappell, of Bowie, died on Tuesday, May 23, 2000.
Philomena Arnold Chappell was the daughter on Harmon Brown Arnold and Bedelia (Dehlia) Elizabeth Monahan.
Philomena graduated Barton High School class of 1926.
Phil (23years old) and Bill (29 years old) married 8 May 1931 in Mineral County, West Virginia.
She was the beloved wife of the late William J. Chappell; mother of Jane Radcliffe, of Anaheim, Calif., John H. Chappell, of Westminister, Colo., and William J. Chappell, of Bowie; and sister of Joseph Arnold, of McComb, Miss. Also survived by nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at SS. Peter & Paul Church, 125 Fayette St., Cumberland, on Friday, May 26 at 12 p.m.
Interment will be in the Laurel Hill Cemetery, Moscow, Allegany County, Maryland.
Memorial Mass will be held at the Villa Rosa Home, 3800 Lotsford Vista Road, Mitchellville, MD 20721 on Saturday, May 27.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Villa Rosa Home.
