He is survived by his wife of forty-four years, Judy Dowies; two daughters, Tammie Maricle and her husband, Billy and Sammie Gale Burgess and her husband, Cliff; his brother, Gerald Dowies and his wife, Lona; seven grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
