PENDLETON - Local cook Tracy Ann Young died April 2, 2007, at her home. She was 45.

Disposition will be by cremation. There will be a potluck celebration of life gathering at 1 p.m. Sunday, April 22, 2007, at Great Pacific Wine and Coffee Co. in Pendleton.

Ms. Young was born Sept. 19, 1961, in Mountain Home, Idaho, to Lewis Morse and Demetra Pollard. She attended Boise State University and lived Denver, Colo., and Pendleton. She worked as an interior designer and telephone engineer. She was the head cook at Great Pacific Wine and Coffee Co. for the last seven years.

She enjoyed organic gardening, cooking and pottery. She was a member of the Sierra Club and the Cooking Club of America.

Ms. Young is survived by her mother; son Jakob Sears of Sandhollow, Idaho; partner Monty Robison of Pendleton; and ex-husband Michael Young.
