SET HALTERMAN RITES TUESDAY
Carl (Duke) Halterman died at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Holzer Medical Clinic after several weeks illness. He was 74.
A resident of Wellston route two, he was born in Jackson and was a lifetime resident of the county. He was a retired employee of Crown Pipe and Foundry.
Son of the late Allen and Melissa Wyant Halterman, he is survived by one son, Sherman Halterman of Jackson route six and one daughter, Mrs. Ray (Betty) Rasp of Jackson route four. Also surviving are two brothers, Leonard Law of Jackson and Ray Law of Wellston route two, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Sperry funeral home from 7 to 9 Monday evening. The Rev. Herbert Grimm will conduct funeral services Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Fairmount cemetery
