Anthony Buchanan
Mr. Anthony Buchanan, 29, of Greenwood, died Wednesday, June 2, 2004, on Highway 49 South in Greenwood of massive internal injuries due to a motor vehicle accident.
Funeral services were Saturday, June 5, at Jones Chapel United Methodist Church in Carrollton with Elder Charles Washington officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Mr. Buchanan was a production technician at Johnson Control Company in Canton and a member of Jones Chapel United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Ethel Austin Buchanan; daughter, Melissa Austin; sons, Demarcus Austin and Richard Austin, all of Greenwood; sisters, Patricia Thomas, Annie Buchanan, Julie Buchanan, Sandra Buchanan, Reakeisha Buchanan, Alice Ferguson, all of Greenwood, Shirley George of Detroit, Mich.; brothers, Michael Buchanan, Joey Buchanan, Kenneth Buchanan, all of Greenwood, and Willie Buchanan of St. Louis.
Sanders & Sanders Funeral Home of Greenwood was in charge of arrangements.
