Gospel preacher, debater, editor of the Gospel Advocate and song writer. He spoke on the first Freed-Hardeman College lectureship in 1937.

Note of clarification from Terry Gardner: "Foy, Jr's name was Foy Esco Wallace. His father was Foy Edwin Wallace. They went by Foy E. Wallace, Sr., and Foy E. Wallace, Jr., for accommodative purposes to help hold down the confusion. In his lifetime no one every referred to Foy E. Wallace, Jr., as Foy Esco Wallace, Jr."
