Walter is the husband of Ida F. Evans married January 22, 1903 in Houston County, Crockett, Texas. Their children: Walter E. Jr., Winnie Mae, Boonie, Helen, Eunice, Nollie Grace, Wollie and Winse Ellisor. Walter is the son of Godfrey Calvin Ellisor and S. Eunice Ross.

Funeral services for Walter Ellisor, 93, were held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Waller Family Chapel. Rev. R. J. Marshall and Rev. W. H. Collins officiated. Burial was in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Mr. Ellisor, a resident of Rt. 1, Crockett, died Feb. 1 in the Houston County Nursing Home. He was born Oct. 15, 1881, in Houston County and had lived here all his life. He was a retired farmer and member of the Shady Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. M. D. Mollitt, Mrs. Jessie Woolley, Mrs. Claude Woolley, and Mrs.Nollie Woolley, all of Crockett, and Mrs. Doyle McCelvey of San Marcus. Also, a sister, Mrs. Grady Dorman of Port Arthur; a daughter-in-;aw, Mrs. Ellisor of Crockett; 22 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
