Born in Auburn, RI, he was a son of the late Archibald and Elizabeth (Rose) Arnold. Mr. Arnold was employed at Arnold's Garage along with his brothers, for over forty years. He is a US Army Veteran of WW II.
He is survived by two daughters; Barbara Genese of Westerly and Debra Carey of Wakefield; a brother, Alfred Arnold of Green Hill; and five grandchildren. He was the father of the late Walter B. Arnold and brother of the late Mary Streeter, William and Robert Arnold.
A graveside service will be held Saturday at 11 AM in New Fernwood Cemetery, Rt. 138, Kingston. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. For guest book and condolences, averystortifuneralhome.com.
