Ellen Benson of Sun City passed away Feb 3, 2009 of complications related to Leukemia. Ellen had lived the last 20 years in Sun City coming from Endicott, N.Y. and before that Carbondale, Pa.
Ellen and her husband Jack were active in the Sun Bounders of Sun City and enjoyed many camping trips locally and abroad.
She is survived by her husband, Jack; cousin, John Howell, Branford, Conn.; sons, Charles and Richard, San Diego, Calif. and Ashburn, Va. (respectively), their wives and four granddaughters.
The family is asking that donations be made to the Leukemia-Lymphoma Society in lieu of flowers. Services were held at First Presbyterian Church of Sun City on Feb 10th.
