Melissa M. Scott, of Davenport, died Friday, November 30, 2007, at Genesis Medical Center, West Central Park, Davenport. Services for Mrs. Scott will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, 3030-7th Ave, Rock Island. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Aledo Cemetery, Aledo, Ill. Memorials may be made to the Gift of Hope, Organ and Tissue Donor Network, 660 N. Industrial Drive, Elmhurst, IL 60126. Melissa was born March 10, 1954, in Aledo, the daughter of Frank and Barbara Clough-McFarland. She married Mark Scott on October 8, 1988. Mrs. Scott was the administrative manager of the Scott-Ford Inc., Rock Island. Melissa was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Moline, she enjoyed cooking, shopping, traveling, nature and loved spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include her husband, Mark; daughter and son-in-law, Sarah and Ryan Johnston, Bloomington, Ill; mother, Barbara McFarland, Houston, Texas; sister, Andrea Estelle, Houston, Texas; nieces and nephews, Lisa Estelle-Kopal, Houston, Texas, Amie Stahler, Davenport, Kurt Stahler,Davenport; and a sister-in-law, Debbie Stahler, Davenport.
