Roslyn Hilding Anderson, age 69, of Orchard Ave. N. passed of cancer on 3 July 1981 and was interred at Hillside Cemetery in Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota on 7 July 1981.
Ross was born on 5 June 1912 in Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota to Hilding J. Anderson and Ellen A. (West) Anderson. When Ross was 6 1/2 years old, his mother died in December 1918 in a flu epidemic at the young age of 27. Ross' father remarried Ellen C. Johnson in December 1921.
He started working at the Day Creamery, later working with his uncle, Oscar Anderson, at the creamery in Frazee, Becker County, Minnesota.
In 1936, Ross married Dorothy. After marriage, Ross worked at the Bambi Bakery and later was an owner and driver at the Blue and White Cab Company in Minneapolis working with his brother-in-law, Wally Oslund.
Survived by wife, Dorothy M.; daughter & son-in-law, Mr. & Mrs. Kenneth (Eloise) Hanish; 2 grandchildren, Jodi & Lori; mother, Mrs. Ellen Anderson; sister, Mrs. Wallace Oslund all of Mpls.; brothers, Curtis & Eugene, both of Mpls.; Rev. Marbury of Mankato, Virgil of Clear Lake IA, Elwin of White Bear, Vernon of Rapid City, SD, Theodore of Hamel, MN; also survived by several nieces & nephews.
