Lydia Rich married Francis Gooding in Imlay City, Michigan, on July 29, 1873, when she was 14 years old. They divorced sometime before her next marriage in June 1876.

Annetta Rich married Eugene Ostrander in Romeo, Michigan, on June 17, 1876, when she was 17 years old. They had daughter Bertha Grace on March 29, 1877. They divorced sometime in 1877-1878.

Lydia A Rich married Albert E Stevens in Lapeer, Michigan, on November 19, 1878, when she was 19 years old. They were both in Greeley, CO in June 1880, but in separate households. They must have divorced later that year or in 1881.

Nettie "Card" married L. Flesher in Pueblo, Colorado, on December 21, 1881, when she was 22 years old. They remained married for 44 years, through her passing in 1927.

It originally seemed that she must have married someone named Card between her divorce from Albert Stevens, and this marriage, but I found her daughter Grace's marriage to Elton Smith in 1894, and she also used that last name Card. It became quite evident that after mom's third divorce, they legally changed their last name to Card, possibly so they would have the same last name in a new place. They hadn't been in Colorado very long, less than two years, maybe less than one.

She was the mother of 8, 6 survived through 1900. It is unknown when/where/who the 8th child was. The 1910 census reported 7 children, 6 living. Was the 1900 reporting not correct, or was that child's passing so long ago, whoever reported the info in 1910 was not aware of that 8th child?

1877 - Bertha GRACE Ostrander
1885 - Anna Mae Flesher
1888 - Maude M Flesher
1891 - Jessie Colbert Flesher (d. 1891)
1893 - Evalina Sylvia "Eva" Flesher
1897 - Pearl Annette Flesher (twin)
1897 - Merle Izetta Flesher (twin)

I did not find a memorial for a Gooding child in Lapeer County, Michigan between 1873-1880. It seems that the 8th child was either with Frank Gooding, and there's just not an existing memorial, or it was with Zemari, possibly their first born. Jessie is the only Flesher found in Colorado born after 1881, and died before 1900.

Could this be the 8th child (194947907), and the name was transcribed wrong as Fletcher? This location is as equally far from their marriage location in Pueblo, as it was to their known location in Canon City. This child was 3 months old at passing, and they were married about 11 months before her death. Maybe so, maybe not….
