Last Rites Held For Frank Bedard, Monse Resident
Rosary services were held in Omak Monday evening at 7:30 for Frank Joseph Bedard who passed away at the Omak hospital early Sunday morning at the age of 36 years.
Mr. Bedard was born in Molson and had lived all his life on a ranch 10 miles East of Monse except the time spent in the army during World War II. After the death of his father five years ago he operated the Bedard holdings and cared and provided for several younger members of the family.
He is survived by 11 brothers and six sisters and their families. All were here for the funeral except Ralph, who is with the armed forces in Germany, and Phillip, who was recently in Montana. Walter, another brother, left Spokane Saturday afternoon for induction in the army in California, but upon arriving there had to return immediately by plane in time for the funeral which was held from the St. Agnes church in Omak Tuesday morning at 9 am.
Pallbearers were Dennis Abel, Maurice Joy, Jack Wells, all of Okanogan, George Schneider of Omak, Pete Waggoner of Monse and John Eder from Twisp.
