Wife of Bert "Bird" Travis Palmer (1872-1943) and mother of four boys and two girls with Bert Palmer: Hazel, Bud, Alvin, Elisha, Murray, Otis and Helen Palmer. Bert and Aubrey were married about 1901 in Kansas. Aubrey's first husband was Allison William James (1869-1945). They were married on September 5, 1888 in Mountain Grove, Texas County, Missouri. She was the mother of three girls with Allison William James: Ida Emma Lissa James Ellis, Agnes James Smith and Alice "Lonely" James Appledorn. Aubrey was the daughter of David Allen Rolph and Elizabeth H. (Gilliland) Rolph of Crawford County, Pennsylvania. When she died, Aubrey had 46 grandchildren and 95 great grandchildren.
