Buel Edward Freeman, age 91, of Marshall, Arkansas, departed this life October 03, 2009.

He was born September 02, 1918, to Jessie and Bessie (Williams) Freeman.

He is preceded in death by his parents Jessie and Bessie Freeman, brother Bobby Freeman, one sister Lucille Branscum and two infant brothers.

Buel was of the Pentecostal faith. He attended church faithfully up until his illness. He loved to sing and play the guitar. He was a retired school bus driver of 18 years.

He is survived by his wife of 71 years Leda Horton Freeman, one daughter Evalyn and husband Lloyd DePriest of Marshall, grandchildren: Clifford DePriest of Russellville, Arkansas, Tanya and husband Mark Watts, Tarance and wife Nicole DePriest, Trisch and husband Tim Wallace, Eric and wife Jennifer DePriest all of Marshall, Arkansas, great-grand-children: Sam DePreist, Christine and Lucas Holt of Russellville, Ryan Watts, Dylan Watts, Kendrick Campbell, Logan DePriest, Kenzie Wallace, Ally DePriest, and Payton DePriest all of Marshall, Arkansas , two brothers Earl Freeman of Oklahoma, and J.D. Freeman of Marshall, one sister Ruby Shipman of Lake Jackson, Texas.

Burial was in Canaan Cemetery.
