Brian Lee Davidson of Swan Lake, NY, a lifelong Sullivan County resident, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family after a long illness at the Kaplan Family Hospice in Newburgh, NY on Thursday, April 19, 2007. He was 31.

The son of Bruce P. Davidson and Hilda Castillo, he was born June 18, 1975 in Monticello, NY.

Brian was a counselor for Sullivan ARC at the Franklin House in Monticello and a construction worker. He was a member of St. Peter's Church in Liberty.

He is survived by his father and stepmother, Bruce P. and Agnes Davidson Sr. of Loch Sheldrake, NY; his mother, Hilda Castillo of Puerto Rico; his maternal grandmother, Christiana Grullon of Woodridge, NY; his companion, Theresa Rizzitano at home; two daughters, Ashley Rizzitano and Samantha Rizzitano at home; five brothers, Bruce P. Davidson Jr. and his wife Mary, of Liberty, NY, Brad Davidson of Glen Wild, NY, John Borgia of Woodridge, Robert Borgia and his wife Jacqueline of North Carolina, and Brendan Davidson of Loch Sheldrake; six sisters, Melissa Corigliano and husband Michael of Liberty, Gina Maliga of Woodridge, Gina Tanaka and Douglas of Smallwood, NY, Elizabeth Davidson of Hurleyville, NY, Michelle Davidson of Brooklyn and Kaitlyn Davidson of Loch Sheldrake; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Monday, April 23, at St. Peter's Church in Liberty with Monsignor Edward Straub officiating. Burial was made in Lew Beach Cemetery, Lew Beach, NY.

The Davidson family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Ashley and Samantha Rizzitano Trust Fund, c/o Catskill Hudson Bank, 1987 State Route 52, Liberty, NY 12754.
