Jimmy Joe Jernigan Jr., 31, of Redwater, Texas, died Saturday, October 3, 2009, from injuries received in a motorcycle accident. Mr. Jernigan was born October 11, 1977, in Longview, Texas. He was employed with Red River Army Depot and a member of First Baptist Church, Redwater and Heavy Metal Motorcycle Club. Survivors include his wife, Tracy Wilson Jernigan of Redwater; one daughter, Julianna Nicole Jernigan of Redwater; one son, Jaze Joseph Jernigan of Redwater; his parents, Ann Castillo of Longview, and Jimmy and Karen Jernigan of Panola, Texas; three sisters, Shannon Budd of Tyler, Texas, Jacy Hill of Bossier City, La., and Sheila McGuire of Marshall, Texas; his grandmother, Joyce Grayshot of Panola; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Chapelwood Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Steve Rice officiating. Burial will be 3 p.m. Wednesday in Jernigan Cemetery, Panola. Visitation will be 6-7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
