Beach, California, died Monday
in Long Bach.

She was born August 25, 18xx
in Indiana and came to Kansas
with her parents when she was
an infant. The family settled
near Geneva.

The daughter of the late William
and Melissa Adams graduated
from Iola High School in
18?? and taught scool in Iola
and Allen County until 1912?. She
also taught in Kansas City for
several years until moving to
Long Beach in 1???. She con-
tinued her teaching career there
until her retiring in 1906?.

Miss Adams was a member of
the Presbyterian Church.

Survivors are three nieces,
Miss Helen T. Adams, San
Diego; Mrs. Theta Brewer L...?

Brewer, McCana....?, Witchita,
and a cousin, Miss Eva
Etta Gilkeson of Iola.
