Born in Winn Parish, La., March 8, 1895, he had lived here four and one-half years. He was retired from the Oilwell Supply Division of U.S. Steel Corp. He was a member of the First Church of Christ Scientist of Kerrville. He received his 50 year pin in 1974 as a member of the Highland Park Masonic Lodge in Dallas.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Robert J. Bice, of Los Angeles, Calif.; a sister and two grandchildren.
