We thought that Susan was buried next to her husband in the Gainesville Cemetery, but Andy said that she wasn't. He's going to keep his eye open for other Hunter graves in this county. I believe her death date to be between 1902 (when she received a military pension) and 1910.

We believe our great grandmother's parents and siblings were:

William F. Hollis (need help with his parents; end of line)
Birth:13 Feb 1820, TN, USA
Death: 19 Jul 1903, Sumner County, TN

Margaret A. (?Stanley) Staley, 1826-1897 (need help; end of line)
Birth: 1 Mar 1826, prob, Sumner County, TN
Death: 15 Nov 1897, Sumner County, TN
