Died at 5:05 a.m. Friday, Nov. 21, 1975, at Baton Rouge General Hospital. He was 44, a native of Cruger, Miss., and a resident of Walker. He was a Korean Conflict veteran. Body at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs. Visiting 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday and 8 to 11:45 a.m. Sunday and at the Walker Methodist Church noon to 2 p.m. Sunday. Religious services at Walker Methodist Church at 2 p.m. Sunday, conducted by the Revs. M. L. Davis, Dewitt Milton, H. B. Wilkinson and P. W. Sibley. Interment in Palmetto Cemetery, Walker.

Survived by his wife, Delma Ferguson Baker, Walker; four daughters, Misses Kaye Francis, Terry Lynn, Margaret Anne and Leslie Carol Baker, all of Walker; two sons, Robert S. Baker Jr. and Lance Edward Baker, both of Walker; sister, Mrs. Virginia Bowen, Tupelo, Miss.; and brother Joe M. Baker, Greenville, Miss.

He was a member of Walker Methodist Church, active in all the church's youth work and a graduate of Mississippi State University.
