He was born Aug. 11, 1908 in St. Anna, a son of Jacob and Amelia Christel Krupp. His marriage to Caroline Halfmann took place June 1, 1936, at St. Ann Catholic Church in St. Anna. The couple farmed on the homestead farm in the town of New Holstein.
Mr. Krupp was a member of St. Anna Catholic church, the Holy Name Society, served as a church trustee and was an honorary member of the Knights of Columbus.
He was a director and, for 13 years president of the Kiel Tri-County Cooperative. For 31 years, he served on the New Holstein School Board and was a six-term board president.
Surviving are his wife, Caroline; three daughters, Mrs. Richard (Marion) Marsh and Mrs. Dominic (Barbara) DeAmicis, both of Elm Grove, and Elizabeth Krupp of Milwaukee; three sons, Daniel of St. Ana, Jerome of New Holstein and Joseph of Madison; 16 grandchildren; three brothers, Arno, Albert and Edmund, all of St. Anna; and four sisters, Betty Hahn of Merrimac, Sister M. Alice of Greenleaf, Veronica Heus of Marytown, and Ernestine Wagner of Madison.
He was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters.
The funeral Mass was Monday in St. Ann Catholic Church in St. Anna, the Rev. John Gallagher, pastor, celebrant. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
