SAMUEL LEWIS BURIED
-----
Many Veterans of Civil War Attended Funeral of G. A. R. Man
-----
The funeral of Samuel Lewis, a veteran of the Civil War, who died Saturday, was held yesterday afternoon from his late home, No. 801 East Twenty-second street. Interment was made in the Riverview Cemetery. Members of Thomas A. Smyth Post, G. A. R., and Encampment No. 34, Union Veteran Legion, of which Mr. Lewis was a member, attended in body.

From the home to the grave in Riverview Cemetery the funeral procession was led by the Bruswick Fife and Drum Corps, and the veterans marched to it in a body. After the casket, draped in the national colors, had been lowered into the grave a squad fired a salute and "taps" was sounded.

The pallbearers were members of Smyth Post, Union Veteran Legion and the Ancient Order of United Workmen.
