Entertainer. He began his career with CBS as a radio announcer. He performed as a vocalist on radio with the group the Music Mates while stationed in the Pacific serving with the United States Army Air Forces during World War II. He made his Broadway debut in the hit musical "Where's Charley?" (1948 to 1950), supporting Ray Bolger, and followed it up as a cast member in the production "Bless You All" (1950 to 1951). This would lead to character roles in such motion pictures as "Tonight We Sing" (1953), "Man in the Attic" (1953), "Ma and Pa Kettle at Waikiki" (1955), "The Best Things in Life Are Free" (1956) and "Emergency Hospital" (1956). Among his television guest appearances include the programs "Lawman" and "Perry Mason." He died from natural causes.
