Della Ann Hoover, 84, of Bedford, died Saturday at Dunn Memorial Hospital. Born June 15,1907, in Monroe County, she was the daughter of Elmer and Anna (Sexton) Hill. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was a member of "Club 55" bowling league. Survivors include three daughters, Helen Miller of Abilene, Texas, Betty Anderson of Franklin, Tenn. and Sally Barrett of Bedford; three sons, William Moat of Hesperia, Calif., Charles Moat of Stonington, Conn., and Danny Moat of Bloomingtion; two half sisters; 17 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; one niece and one nephew. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Jennie Meadows; one son, Elmer Moat; one sister, Gertrude Scott; ond two grandchildren. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Day and Carter Mortuary in Bedford with Pastor Mark Murphy officiating. Burial will be at Green Hill Cemetery. Friends may call 2-9 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. until services Monday at the funeral home.
