Beatrice Lillian Harper, born in Seattle, January 16, 1909, died in Shoreline, November 10, 2005. Long-time Ballard resident, she attended Ballard High School with the Class of 1927.
Bea was preceded in death by her husband William Harper in 1979. She spent the last eight years of her life in the loving care of her daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and Ben Laigo. She is also survived by her son Ronald Harper (Judi) and daughter Barbara Anderson (Jack Gunnette), and her ten grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
Lifetime member of Occidental Chapter No. 28, Order of Eastern Star and a longtime member of Northminster Presbyterian Church.
Cremation to be followed by a family graveside service at a later date. Any remembrances to a charity of your choice. (Published in The Seattle Times on November 20, 2005)
