Mittie Lane, 94, died at the Hobbs Health Care Center, where she had resided for three years.

She was born in Columbus, Ark. and was married to Edward L. Lane, who preceded her in death on February 24, 1972.

A member of Northside Baptist Church, she came to Hobbs in 1966 from Hope, Ark. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include one son, one daughter and one sister.
