Memorial by Macedonia Church, Chula, Ga, by committee B. B Sumner, F. O. Morris, and J. S. Stripling, committee:
On Tuesday morning of March 2, 1915, the soul of sister Datieann Branch was called to her heavenly home. She was born February, 8, 1847. She united with the church July 14th, 1913. She gave her life to the Lord and was always ready and willing to do all in her power for the cause. She was devoted to her church and lived a consistent Christian life. She always had a pleasant smile, a kind word, and a willing hand to do a kindly deed for all. The happiest moments of her live were those spent in serving our kind Father and distributing to everyone according to his needs.
Sister Branch is survived by the following members of her family: a husband, J. A. Branch two sons, Wiley Branch, Jr. D. D. Branch and two daughters, Mrs. Mary Sumner, and Mrs. Willie Paulk. She was the mother of six children. She leaves a vacant place that cannot be filled. ...rest including resolutions, omitted for space.
