Dorothy Pluta, age 89, of Wellington died early Tuesday morning at her home following a short illness.
She was born on March 14, 1919, in North Olmsted and has lived in the Wellington area for 57 years. She was a 1937 graduate of North Olmsted High School. She was a homemaker who enjoyed camping with her husband, gardening, cooking, sewing and spending with her loving family.
She is survived by her sons Walter (Patricia) Pluta, of Mooresburg, Tenn., Gerald (Deborah) Pluta, of Trosper, Ky.; daughter, JoAnn (Roy) Frazier, of Wellington, ten grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and eight
great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years Casmir Pluta, who passed away in February of this year, her parents Walter and Ruby (Farr) Rayner, and a half-sister Blanche Hout.
Friends may call on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Morman Funeral Home, 16 Cooper Street, Wakeman, where services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m.
Pastor Chuck Livermore will be officiating. Burial will follow at Camden Cemetery.
