She was a homemaker and a member of the Wyoming United Methodist Church. Mrs.
Cole was an accomplished painter and participated in many art shows, including Capitol City Tour of the Arts and Old Dover Days.
She loved reading, doing crosswords puzzles, crafts, gardening, especially tending to her roses.
Mrs. Cole was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Cole, 1993; and her son, Richard W. Cole, 1998. She is survived by her son, James E. Cole and his wife Anita DiSandro-Cole of Wilmington;
