Mrs. Hungerpiller died Sunday, Nov. 22, 1998. Born in Elloree, Oct. 4, 1905, she was a daughter of the late Nelson and Mattie Wertz Brown. She was the widow of Emmett S. Hungerpiller. Mrs. Hungerpiller was a member of First Baptist Church of Winnsboro, the Ladies Sunday School Class, Women's Missionary Union and the Sunshine Club.
Surviving are her son, E. Samuel "Sam" Hungerpiller of Winnsboro; grandchildren, Chris Blackwelder and Connie Hungeriller, both of Winnsboro, Kathy McGarity of Blackstock and Fran Walter of Florence; nine great-grandchildren.
