Born Aug. 11, 1889 [NOTE: grave marker shows 1888], in Advance, Ind., she was the daughter of John and Dora AILES CALDWELL. Her marriage was Oct. 13, 1903, to Loran LEAP, who died Feb. 19, 1949. She was a member of the Zion Gospel chapel, north of Kewanna.
Surviving are one son, Manson LEAP, R.R. 4, Rochester; four daughters, Eva and Treva [LEAP], both at home, and Mrs. Arnold ADAMS, Kewanna and Mrs. Jesse SIMS, Culver; one brother, Marvin CALDWELL, Jamestown, Ind.; one sister, Mrs. Opal FORBES, Lebanon; six grandchildren, and four great-granchildren. One sister preceded in death.
Final rites will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Zion Gospel chapel, with the Rev. Leon HOFFER officiating. Burial will be in the Kewanna I.O.O.F. cemetery. Friends may call at the Harrison funeral home and at the church one hour before the services.
