NEWNAN, Ga. - Eula Juanita Phillips Hutton, 88, died at the Corinth Road Assisted Living Home on Sept. 24, 2009.

Born in Newell on June 29, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Oleta Wade Phillips and Cecil Phillips.

Mrs. Hutton retired from the former AM Auto Equipment in 1982, She was a member of the Newell United Methodist Church, Jolly 60s and Tri-Angle Senior Citizens. She was the valedictorian of her graduating class at Wells High School.

Surviving are her son, Larry Eugene Hutton and his wife Alicia, of Ponte Verda, Fla.; granddaughter, Susan Hutton, of Ann Arbor, Mich..; grandson, Leh Hutton, of Neptune, Fla.; and four great-grandchildren, Hazel and John Byers and Lauren and Eliza Hutton.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2009, at the Arner Funeral Chapel officiated by the Rev. Ethel Dunaway, followed by burial in Columbiana County Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and online condolences may be sent to: [email protected]
