Funeral services for Stacey Gordon Young, 38, of Leesville were held at 2 p.m. Jan. 3, 2008 at the Hixson Funeral Home of Leesville Pastor Joseph Bathe officiated. Burial followed in the Galilee Cemetery in Evans. He was in the U.S. Navy serving his country proud. He is preceded in death by his father, Harris Gordon Young and one brother, Tommy DeShields. He is survived by his mother, Virginia Young of Leesville; three brothers, Nathan Harris Young and wife Tammy of Leesville, Charles Richard Young of Houston and Phillip Lee Young of Leesville; one sister, Patricia Conner of Calif; six sons, Stephen Gordon Young, Christopher Willis Young, Michael Alan Young, Raven Ray Young, Charles Treyton Young and Wyatt Lane Young, all of Leesville; two daughters, Lacie Amber Nicole Young and Elizabeth Paige Young, both of Leesville; Patricia Bates, mother of four children, Lisa Kathleen Young, and the mother of his four children, Brenda Young McGlothlin; a very special niece Stephanie Ann Renee Young of Leesville.
