Marlet Elroy Ingram, 80, of Springdale, died Sunday in a Springdale convalescent home. He was born Nov. 5, 1885 in Spring Valley and was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Ollie Sizemore Ingram of the home; three sons, Ralph of Springdale, Howard and Vernon of Lowell, one daughter, Mrs. Boyd Wright of Springdale; 22 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
According to descendants, Marlet Elroy Ingram's first wife - and the mother of his children - was Edna Leona Smith, who was born 10 Sept 1889 and died 17 Mar 1940. Their children were: Avel, Jewel Ona, Herman Dee, Howard Woodrow, Helen, Ralph Elroy, and Vernon Edward.
